MISS TOURISM QUEEN ETHIOPIA 2009

Fetihya Mohamemd is representing Ethiopia at Miss Tourism Queen in China from the 18-30th August 2008,

Miss Tourism Queen International was founded by Mr. Charlie See. Since 1949, there have been more than 80 countries occasionally holding this competition for their Miss Tourism National Queen. In 1993, the Miss Tourism Queen International Organization held the first world final competition in Sri Lanka, and later in USA, Russia, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and many other countries as well. Miss Tourism Queen International contests has been held in China for six years from 2004 to 2009.

It has been licenced to the Ethiopian Life Foundation since 2003.

Teenage Ethiopian Beauty crowned Model of Africa in China

Miss Millennium Teen Intercontinental; Bewunetwa Abebe who was representing Ethiopia at the recently concluded International Beauty and Model festival 2009 in Kunming China, has won the title of Model of Africa.

19 year old Bewunetwa Abebe was participating in her first event international event having been crowned Miss Teen Millennium Intercontinental as part of the Ethiopian Millennium Festival of Beauty, and did not only her nation proud but her family as well. Bewunetwa Abebe comes from a long line of Beauty Queens in her family as her two older sisters have also successfully represented Ethiopia in several beauty contests over the years.
Current Washington DC based Model Ferehiyewot Abebe her older sister was the first Ethiopian girl ever to participate at Miss Universe in 2004, she went on to participate in Miss Teen Model of the World, Miss Earth and World Miss University, her oldest Sister Tizita Abebe also took part in Miss Model of the World and Miss Bikini Universe.

The 2009 International Beauty and Model festival was organized by the World Beauty Congress and held in Beijing and Kunming from the 25th April until the 7th May 2009. Beauties of Africa Inc and the Ethiopian life foundation coordinated Ethiopia participation 43 International models took part in this event

Miss Gabon bids for GloryMarlyne Lea Ayene Miss Gabon 2009 has arrived in Beijing China along with 40 other beauties from around the world for the start of the 2009 International Beauty and Model festival.
Marlyne Lea Ayene who was crowned Miss Gabon 2009 in December 2008, becomes the first reigning Miss Gabon and sponsored by Beauties of Africa Inc to represent Gabon at an international beauty pageant.

The event will last 3 weeks and Marlyne Lea will be proudly flying the flag for Gabon

Teenage Ethiopia beauty queen Bewunetwa Abebe Has arrived in Beijing China long with 40 other beauties from around the world for the start of the 2009 International Beauty and Model festival.

19 year old Bewunetwa who was crowned Miss Teem Millennium Intercontinental, becomes the second teenage Ethiopian model from the Ethiopian Millennium pageant to represent Ethiopia at an international beauty pageant.

The event will last 3 weeks and Bewunetwa will be proudly flying the flag for Ethiopia.
Miss Teen Ethiopia beauty pageant is exclusively organised and owned by Beauties of Africa Inc under a licence from the Miss Tourism Global organisation and it is the only Teenage beauty pageant in Ethiopia offering opportunities for global travel to Ethiopian teens. The next edition will take place in August 2009.

Libreville Gabon 20th December 2009, Before a packed out house at the City of Democracy In Gabon, 22 year old Marlyne Eyene Ella was crowned MISS GABON 2009 beating 17 other beauties to win the crown and she will now represent Gabon at Miss Tourism Queen International 2009, and Miss International 2009, and one of her runners up will also debut at Miss Earth 2009.

The rest of her court includes 1st runner up : Marie-Thérèse Palysandre Bert (R) 19 year old student, and 2nd runner up: Cynthia Mboumba (L) 21 year old student

Beauties of Africa Inc Is set to produce the upcoming Miss Safari Pageant scheduled to be held in Kenya in 2010.

This magnificent event firmly establishes B.O.A. as the preeminent pageant organiser and producers in Africa and follows our successful implementation and organising of Miss Tourism of the Millennium in Ethiopia to celebrate Ethiopias new Millennium last year.

We see organising the Miss Safari Pageant as a chance to be "Proactive" rather than "Reactive" to the Kenya Tourism Industries woes. Miss Safari will go well beyond promoting Eco-Tourism, and is also a land breaking opportunity to address Wildlife conservation on a global level with the cooperation and involvement of renowned Wildlife trusts and sanctuaries.
